respond w/ 8 facts that we don’t know about you! send to 5 people!🌻✨ (from @liltwinflow)

I didn’t realize you tagged me until just now~ (For whatever reason I didn’t get a notification… weird.) Anyways, here’s round three of interesting (or entertaining?) facts about me~ ^^

1.  I was nine years old when I started learning how to sing in different languages~ I don’t remember the name of the song, but I can still sing it to this day~ It was an Italian song. The next year I learned how to sing in German, French, and Latin~

2. My flutes and piccolo have names and genders. It’s a thing for young flautists to name our instruments, and we somehow can tell their genders and personalities too~ We can even tell the genders of other flutes, even if we’ve never met them before~ It’s really weird~ ^^; Anyways, my first flute, my eldest daughter is named Stacy after my first flute teacher. Two years ago I got my middle child, my only son Altus who is named after the brand he is. He takes pride that he’s worth over $6000 dollars, and he likes to brag and show off~ My youngest daughter is my piccolo, whose name remains a mystery~ I just call her “Little P” for now~ Maybe she’ll reveal her name one day~ ^^

3. I’m really close with this stray cat who sometimes visits who I’ve named Ponyboy~ When I first met Ponyboy, they were really sweet, approaching me without fear and letting me pet their long fur. I thought they were a boy and named them “Ponyboy” cause the name sounded cute~ Well, shortly after deciding his name, he rolled on his stomach and allowed me to scratch his tummy. Well… surprise! Ponyboy was actually a Ponygirl! The reason why I assumed she was a boy is because male cats are generally more affectionate than females, especially strays. Well, she proved me wrong~ But I’ve kept her name the same since she always comes out when I call that name~ ^^

4. I have a hydrophobia (no not rabies, the fear of water~) due to a traumatizing incident when I was young. My family went to a water park when I was around six and my father and I went on a tube slide together. It was like the ones where you go down a tunnel and then there’s the giant toilet bowl you go around before falling through the bottom. Because of the large weight difference, I was flung off somewhere in the dark tunnel, flailing in the dark terrified for my life. I remember being flung around the bowl and then suddenly dropping into the water, surrounded by never ending blue. I couldn’t swim (and still can’t) and I remember flailing desperately and feeling so much pain in my chest before blacking out. It took the lifeguards 20 mins to bring me back to consciousness. Ever since then, I’ve been terrified of bodies of water. Pools, lakes, the ocean, any body of water really, I’m terrified of. (Now I’m obviously okay with things like rain and taking a shower, but baths are a no go for me~)

5. I’ve always been a bit of a book worm~ I always read books that were way advanced for my age. I read all of the Lord of the Rings in 5th grade, the Odyssey and Othello in 6th, and by the time I was in junior high, Macbeth and Hamlet~ It’s funny, because in my English classes, I’ve already read everything we’re suppossed to read during the school year~ It looks to be the same case this year too~ (I’m still excited to reread Hamlet though~ ^^)

6. At my school, in the case of an attack like a school shooting, thanks to my extensive knowledge in chemistry, and the trust of my teachers, I know how to make chemical explosives (nothing too crazy. They have the force of about a few firecrackers but they can pack a punch)~ The real damage would come from us unhooking the gas hoses and lighting them, using those as flamethrowers. (The bottom line is, if you’re under attack in our school, the science labs are the safest place to be~)

7. I have really close bonds with all of my teachers. Some of them are family friends, others are students of my parents, but a majority of them are just adults that I’ve closely bonded with. My first grade teacher for example, was someone I absolutely fell in love with. She let me sit at her desk and would talk to me all the time~ One day however, she left towards the end of the year because she was pregnant. It left me heartbroken, and the art teacher made me a puppet of her (which I have to this day) to remember her. I brought that puppet with me every day until school ended. Many years later, when I was in sixth grade, there was a day where I was called down to the Main Office. I remember the class laughing at me, telling me I was in trouble (like kids do). I wasn’t sure what was going on and I was really afraid, so I went down by myself in tears. When I arrived however, I was greeted by a familiar face. It was my first grade teacher from all those years ago. She had two kids now, two daughters, and she wanted me to meet her kids. She let me hold her newborn, which was the first time I ever held a baby by the way, and said, “Claire, meet Claire.” She named her second daughter after me because she wanted her to be playful and sweet just like I was when she taught me. I was so touched I cried~ Everyone in the office went aw, and a bunch took pictures of everything. I got to spend the rest of the day with her and I’ll never forget it~ I love all of my teachers so much~ <3

8. I have an arachnophobia, but mine is actually justified by a seriously traumatizing incident. When I was in preschool, my teacher had an unusual class pet. Most teachers have a class pet~ Something cute like a goldfish, or something fluffy like a guinea pig or a rabbit. Not mine~ She had a tarantula. A Goliath Birdeater to be exact. (You know, one of the largest spiders in the world.) Because why not? I’m sure that’ll go great with three-four year old kids. What could possibly go wrong? Everything. One day I sat down at my desk and reached inside to grab my things for class. I felt something fuzzy in my hands and pulled it out. Standing on my hands was a giant tarantula the size of my face. If that’s not scary enough, the thing got up on its hind legs and hissed, literally hissed, like a ferocious cat, waving its legs up in the air menacingly as if it were about to eat me. I screamed like the little girl I was, threw the thing off my hands and ran crying out of the room. I was so traumatized, I refused to go back because of the “big spider”. When my mom went to go meet with the teacher to understand what I was talking about, she saw the tarantula (in its cage this time) and the next day, I was no longer going to preschool there. I absolutely hate spiders because of what happened. Fortunately for me, I have a cat who kills spiders, so we’re all good~ ^^

Thanks so much for tagging me~ These are really fun~! Lots of Love~ <3

Oh yay~ Another one~

1. Whenever I finish early in a class and I’m bored, I read the dictionaries and textbooks of whatever class I’m in just for fun. It’s a habit I’ve had since I was really little apparently~ (That might be why I know so much lol~)

2. I’ve broken a glass by singing before~ ^^

3. When I get my migraines, I often times become delusional. There was one time where I wanted to stuff my parent’s bathroom full of plastic bags (and I actually tried to do it too lol).

4. I got my ears pierced when I was ten, but I haven’t worn earrings in over five years. I guess I just never really liked it. But my holes are apparently still open, so I could put some back in if I really wanted to~ But I’m not going to since I don’t like it. ^^;

5. I can play the recorder with my nose~

6. I’m easily embarrassed by praise since I’m not used to it. I also blush a lot and even sometimes cry when people say nice things to me (they’re happy tears, don’t worry~).

Ooh~ Interesting~! Okay~ Here we go then~

1. When I was three years old, I escaped the house in the middle of the night and travelled all the way to a playground in our development that was across the street and down a very large hill. My parents spent about two hours searching for me that night. The people who lived next to the playground found me on a swing and returned me home. I never attempted a second escape~ ^^

2. When I was four, I jumped off my parents’ bed and I brought a whole 200 pound dresser + a tv down with me. I had a fracture in my ulna that practically severed the bone into two halves. So for a majority of my pre-school year, I couldn’t write (since it’s a faux pas for children learning to write with their left hand for some reason). But, because I was naturally ambidextrous and my mother was worried about my development, I actually learned to write with my left hand at home. So for a few years of my life, my left hand was my dominant writing hand since I was so used to it. Now I can write fluently and cleanly with both hands~

3. I’m a very fast walker. It’s a combination of height and the fact that I like to get places in a timely manner. Well, in kindergarten, the first day of school I was the line leader (remember when we had to walk in lines as kids? Those were the days of agony~ ^^) and I left my class behind because I walked so fast. Literally I was a whole hallway ahead of everyone. (My teacher told me this after I saw her a few years later.) My teacher wouldn’t let me be line leader again until the last day of school, so I was out a good few minutes before anyone else was~ xD

4. I’m allergic to Penicillin and Amoxicillin, and it’s theorized by my doctors the other penicillin based medications also. We found out I was allergic by accident, when I had a bacterial infection and they had me take some at the office. Well, I quickly developed a rash and then I couldn’t breathe because I was having an anaphylactic reaction. Whoops. (I’m obviously okay, but it was pretty bad. Suffice to say, my doctors don’t want to experiment with any of the other types of penicillin.)

Interesting medical fact: Did you know that only roughly 6% of people who are “allergic” to penicillin actually are? Most people develop the rash which a lot of doctors mislabel as allergies when in actuality, it’s just sensitivity. If you develop hives, itchy eyes, swelling of the tongue and face, or in more dangerous cases, an anaphylactic reaction (like myself) however, you are definitely allergic.

5. When I was around nine years old I got my first iPod touch (remember those days? Good times~). I had this persona of a news anchor named Fuchsia Rodstark who would go around the house documenting different interesting occurrences, or would make little skits with my stuffed animals~ I have over 50 different videos of my amazing adventures~ ^^

6. I’ve composed over 150 different songs, but only a roughly two thirds are completed~ I’ve only done less than ten arrangements in comparison with 90% being finished~ ^^ The reason why so many are incomplete is because, when I face a creative block, I simply move on to a different song. As a result, I end up working on four-six songs simultaneously. I finish most of them, but some of them get placed on the back burner for so long, I forget I even wrote them! But that’s actually a good thing in most cases because going in with fresh eyes and ears makes it easier to continue writing~ ^^

7. My hair is so long that I’ve actually sat on it by accident a few times. ^^; There was one time in US History where I came in and sat down on my hair which abruptly yanked my head upwards. My teacher stared at me for a moment and then asked if I just sat on my own hair. I told him yes and lamented that it was the third time that week. We both shared a good laugh and now it’s a bit of an inside joke when we pass to suddenly tilt our heads upward, mimicking the reaction of sitting on my hair. It’s pretty funny. I have a lot of funny hair stories, but despite everything, I still refuse to cut it. (I’ve been traumatized for life about it.)

8. The reason why I don’t want to cut my hair? Well, when I was in fifth grade, for the first day of school, my mother wanted to get my sister and I haircuts. Since it was my sister’s first time, she wanted to stay with her to help her through it (she was really scared, my poor sister). When the woman came to cut my hair, my mother clearly said “to her shoulder blades”. The woman apparently only heard shoulder, and so to both mine and my mother’s devastation, my hair was cut cleanly to my shoulders, practically to my ears actually. I was so mortified that I actually almost missed the first day of school because I hated how I looked. I haven’t cut my hair since. The only people allowed to trim my hair (and I shudder even using the word trim, that’s how bad my fear is), are my mother and my eldest cousin (who is married and has two kids). Outside of that, I haven’t let a pair of scissors come anywhere close near my head. My hair flows just past my butt as a result~

I hope you don’t mind, I kind of turned the facts into short stories~ Thanks for asking~ Lots of Love~ <3
